Living With Greater Independence
Love U2 Care, LLC provides Supported Living services designed to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible while receiving the individualized support they need.
Services are centered on each person’s abilities, preferences, routines, goals, and individualized support plan. Our direct support professionals work alongside individuals to strengthen daily living skills, promote choice and self-direction, and support meaningful participation at home and in the community.
What Supported Living May Include
Supported Living may include assistance with daily routines, meal planning and preparation, household responsibilities, personal care, budgeting skills, transportation, appointments, shopping, community activities, communication, safety, social skills, and other supports identified in the individual’s service plan.
Support Built Around the Individual
Supported Living is not a one-size-fits-all service. Love U2 Care works with each individual and their support team to identify areas where assistance is needed while encouraging the person to participate, make choices, build skills, and maintain as much independence as possible.
The level and type of support may change as the individual’s abilities, goals, and needs evolve.
Who Supported Living May Be For
Supported Living may be appropriate for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who benefit from individualized support to live as independently as possible in a home and community setting.
Eligibility, service authorization, and the amount of support provided may depend on the individual’s assessed needs, service plan, funding source, and applicable program requirements.
Helping Individuals Thrive at Home and in the Community
Our goal is to provide dependable, respectful support that helps each individual build confidence, develop skills, make meaningful choices, and live a life that reflects what matters to them.
