Greater Independence With the Right Support
Love U2 Care, LLC provides Semi-Independent Living Services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are able to live with greater independence but may benefit from assistance with specific daily living skills, routines, and community activities.
Support is individualized around each person’s abilities, preferences, goals, routines, and service plan. Our goal is to provide assistance where it is needed while encouraging individuals to make choices, develop skills, build confidence, and maintain as much independence as possible.
What Semi-Independent Living May Include
Assistance with routines, organization, household responsibilities, and independent living skills.
Support with meal planning, grocery needs, food preparation, and maintaining healthy routines.
Assistance accessing activities, appointments, shopping, recreation, and other community resources.
Assistance getting to approved appointments, activities, errands, or community destinations.
Support with basic budgeting, planning purchases, and developing responsible money-management habits.
Support with established routines, safety awareness, appointments, and other needs identified in the individual’s service plan.
Support That Encourages Self-Direction
Semi-Independent Living focuses on providing the right amount of support without taking over tasks an individual is capable of completing independently.
Love U2 Care works with each individual and their support team to identify where assistance is needed and where the individual can continue building skills. Support may change over time as abilities, confidence, goals, and needs evolve.
Who Semi-Independent Living May Be For
Semi-Independent Living Services may be appropriate for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who can manage many aspects of daily life independently but benefit from periodic or individualized assistance in specific areas.
The frequency and type of support may vary based on the individual’s assessed needs, abilities, service plan, funding source, authorization, and applicable program requirements.
Supporting Independence. Building Confidence.
Our goal is to provide dependable, respectful support that helps individuals strengthen skills, make informed choices, participate in their communities, and live as independently as possible.
